Mobile Site Readiness

Guided Site Assessment

The Guided Site Assessment lets a prospective user confirm their brewery is ready for SennosM3 hardware — before creating an account. In a few minutes it checks whether the site's network can support SennosM3 sensor communication, provides the right power-adapter guidance for the user's country, and sends the user's details straight to the Sennos sales team for follow-up. It removes the need for a desktop, an account, or a phone call to get started.

Updated July 21, 2026 Version 1.0

Before You Begin

Have ready

  • The Sennoslink Mobile app — get it from sennos.com/quickstart, which links the iOS (App Store) and Android (Play Store) downloads.
  • Access to the area of the cellar floor where a SennosM3 will operate, on the network the device will use.
  • Basic contact and company details for the final step.
  • iOS: allow Location access when prompted — the connectivity check uses it to read network details (see Troubleshooting).
NoteAlready have an account? Existing account holders are moved past this flow automatically and land on Login. The Site Assessment is designed for first-time, pre-account users.
1 Step One

Get the App & Start the Assessment

If you don't have the app yet, go to sennos.com/quickstart for the iOS and Android download links, then install and open Sennoslink Mobile.

On first launch, the app opens to a welcome splash. Tap Begin Site Assessment to start, or skip to Login if you already have an account.

Welcome splash, then the app's prompt to begin the assessment and prepare for the connect test — go to the installation area and connect to the network the SennosM3 will use.

2 Step Two

Run the Connectivity Test

The app runs a connectivity test to confirm the brewery's network environment can support SennosM3 sensor communication. If the first attempt fails, the app automatically retries — up to three times — before reporting a result.

Stand at the intended SennosM3 location — next to the fermentation tank, on the network it will use — when running the connectivity test.
ImportantRun the test where the SennosM3 will actually be installed — not from your office. Stand at the intended device location, on the network it will use, before starting. The test reflects only the spot you're standing in, so running it elsewhere can return a passing result for a location the device won't operate in. If the planned location changes, re-run the test there using the Connect Test shortcut.

3 Step Three

Select Your Country

Choose your country so the app can present region-specific power-adapter guidance for SennosM3 power requirements. This ensures you know exactly what's needed to power the hardware in your region.

4 Step Four

Submit Your Details

Complete the contact and company details form. On submission, the app sends the consolidated assessment details — including the connectivity result — directly to the Sennos sales team (sales@sennos.com) for follow-up.

5 Step Five

Review the Setup Completed Page

After submitting, you see a Setup Completed page confirming the site is ready, with visual context summarizing the result.

The Setup Completed confirmation (“You're all set”), plus the prompt to explore the Sennosystem while the sales team follows up.

6 Step Six

Re-Running the Check Later

A Connect Test shortcut on the Start / Login page lets users re-run the connectivity check at any time — for example, after moving the router, changing networks, or relocating equipment — without stepping back through the full assessment.

Re-running the check anytime from the Connect Test shortcut on the Login page — the app reports network, frequency, and a verified connection.

7 Step Seven

Troubleshooting

SymptomWhat to check
Network shows “N/A,” or the test can't read the network (iOS) Location services likely weren't granted. Enable Location for the Sennoslink app in iOS Settings, then re-run the Connect Test.
Connect Test doesn't recognize when Airplane Mode is turned off (iOS) Fully close and reopen the app after disabling Airplane Mode, then re-run the Connect Test.
Connectivity test keeps failing after retries Confirm the phone is on the brewery's Wi-Fi (not cellular), move closer to the access point, and try again. Persistent failures are useful signal for the sales / CSM conversation about site network readiness.
