2017 - From Vision to Prototype
Founded as a spin-off from Mimetics, with Dr. Steve Haase as science advisor, Sennos began with a bold mission: bring clarity to fermentation through intelligent sensing. The first prototype—a hacked-together system in a plastic container—captured the first signals of what would become a breakthrough platform.
2018 - First Product, First Customers
The BrewMonitor™ X-1 launched commercially, bringing real-time fermentation monitoring to breweries for the first time. What started as a vision became a product in production tanks across the country.
2023 - BrewIQ and Industry Recognition
The BrewIQ™ platform launched, combining hardware, analytics, and interface into a single, intelligent system. That April, the company was named a Top 10 Food & Beverage Tech Solution Provider by Food & Beverage Technology Review.
2025 - The Sennos Era Begins
In January, the company rebranded as Sennos to reflect its broader mission across fermentation and biomanufacturing. By April, the patent-pending SennosM3 modular in-tank sensor launched, a new leadership team was in place, and the company secured a $15M funding round to fuel the next chapter.
